We created this blend in search of mass taste in Bulgaria! This is our best selling coffee, both in our physical outlets in the form of beverages and in home brews. Its mild and balanced taste make it so preferred for home brewing. It is suitable both for espresso and for filtrations or brewing in a coffee maker or a coffee pot. The Arabica-to-Robusta ratio is 80 to 20 percent. The Arabica we use for this blend is from the Veracruz region of Mexico. The coffee rhizomes grow at the base of Mexico’s highest volcanic peak, Pico de Orisaba. The rich nutrients of its volcanic soils combine to create a natural environment ideal for growing high-quality coffee beans. They are hand-picked and sun-dried. A traditional method of processing the coffee is used, by washing with mountain water.
On the other hand, to achieve the desired balance, dense grind and higher caffeine content, we add the highest quality Robusta available on the green coffee market. It is grown on the lower parts of the Masurai stratovolcanic peak in Indonesia. The coffee is processed entirely by hand, again using water.
Deliveries arrive twice a year and the coffee is roasted in small batches by hot air each week here in Sofia. This ensures the unique experience you will get from every cup of coffee from our selection of freshly roasted specialty coffees.
