Description

We created this blend in search of mass taste in Bulgaria! It is our best-selling coffee, both in our physical locations in beverage form and in brews for home use. Its mild and balanced taste makes it a favorite for home cooking. It is suitable both for espresso and for filtration or preparation of a coffee maker or cezve. The Arabica-Robusta ratio is 80 to 20 percent. The Arabica we use for this blend is from the Veracruz region of Mexico. Coffee beans grow at the foot of Mexico’s highest volcanic peak, Pico de Orizaba. The rich nutrients in their volcanic soils combine to create a natural environment perfect for growing high-quality coffee beans. They are picked by hand and dried in the sun. A traditional method of coffee processing is used, by washing with mountain water.

On the other hand, to achieve the desired balance, thick cream and higher caffeine content, we add the highest quality Robusta that is available on the green coffee market. It can be seen on the lower parts of the stratovolcano Masurai in Indonesia. Coffee processing is entirely manual processes, again through water.

Deliveries arrive twice a year and the coffee is roasted in small batches using hot air every week here in Sofia. This guarantees the unique experience you will get from every cup of coffee from our selection of freshly roasted high quality coffees.
